Virginian-Pilot  February 9, 1940
Ramon Carbonell Vidal, aged 25, son of Mrs. Josephine Vidal and the late Ramon C. 
Vidal, a native of Barcelona, Spain, and a resident of Norfolk for the past nine 
years, died yesterday morning at 7 o’clock at the residence, 817 West Thirty-sixth 
street. Besides his mother, Mrs. Josephine Vidal, he is survived by his 
stepfather, Ricardo Palomere. The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for 
services tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
