Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, June 26, 2002 
Helen Foreman Vinson, 86, of the 2800 block of Ballentine Blvd., departed this
pilgrimage on June 23, 2002, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was a
native of Princess Anne County, Va., and the wife of the late Willie Vinson.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Dr. Edward P. Foreman and wife Christine
of Norfolk; two nieces and a nephew whom she reared from childhood, Darious
``Hope'' Hodges and wife, Margaret of Virginia Beach, Alice ``Muffin'' Mack of
Portsmouth and Mildred Wilcox of Norfolk; other nieces and nephews include Ethel
Winship, David Coleman, Melvin Coleman, all of New York, and Nellie Grace of
Youngstown, Ohio; two grandchildren, William Foreman Jr. and Karen Foreman of
Norfolk; four great-grandchildren, Sharon Foreman, Crystal Foreman, William
Foreman and Willie Foreman; and a host of great-nieces, -nephews, cousins and
friends.

A going home celebration will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at The New Calvary
Baptist Church with Dr. G.G. Campbell officiating. A viewing will be held
Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Riddick Funeral Service. Interment will be at
Calvary Cemetery.
