Mrs. Mattie Vinson, 1201 Appomattox street, died at her residence January 30. 
She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Alston. She was a member of 
Beulah Temple No. 4 Lodge.

She is survived by one son, Thomas Vinson; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Alma Vinson 
and three granddaughters.

Final rites were conducted Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. at First Trinity AME Church. The 
Rev. S. Morse, officiated.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Pretlow’s Funeral Home in charge.
