Virginian-Pilot May 9, 1952
Joseph Vitlo, 64, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Vitlo, died yesterday at 
7:30 a.m. at a Norfolk hospital. A native of Baltimore, he had been a resident 
of Norfolk most of his life, residing at 109 Carrollton Road at the time of his 
death.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jack L. Hodge, of San Diego, Calif.; a 
stepdaughter, Mrs. Muriel Mears: a stepson, Sgt. Adrian W. Little; a grandson, 
Arthur Mears; and a brother, Tony Vitlo.
Services will be conducted at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 11 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at 
the funeral apartments tonight at 7:30.
