 Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday September 4, 1936
Robert Wakefield Vogler, aged 53, died last night at 9 o'clock at his 
residence in Salisbury, N.C., after a long illness. He was a native of 
Salisbury and had made his home in the Norfolk section for a number of 
years. He was a son of Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Vogler and the late Louis 
Eugene Vogler. Surviving, besides his mother, are two sisters, Mrs. Annie 
Corbin, of Salisbury, and Mrs. E.E. Parker, of Norfolk, and four brothers, 
L.N. Vogler of Knoxville, Tenn.; W.R. and J.T. Vogler, of Norfolk, and 
George E. Vogler, of Salisbury.
The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, 124 East Berkley avenue, 
where funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. 
Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

Robert Wakefield Vogler -- Funeral services for Mr. Vogler, who died 
Thursday in Salisbury, N.C., were conducted yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock 
in the Graham Funeral Home by the Rev. L.W. Strickler, pastor of the First 
Lutheran Church, Norfolk. Archie Twiford sang "Abide With Me" and "Sometime 
We'll Understand." The attendance was large and there were very many floral 
tributes. The casket was covered with gladiolas and fern. Pallbearers were 
W.B. Daughtrey, Eugene Bell, William Graham, Walter Scott, John Hollomon and 
D.E. Keister. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery
