Virginian Pilot October 30, 1909
Lewis E Vogler, died yesterday morning at 5:15 o'clock at his home, 327 Liberty 
street, after a continued illness of several months of asthma.  The deceased was 
61 years old and was a native of Salisbury, N.C. but had been residing here for 
the past eight years.  He is survived by a widow and several children.
The funeral will be conducted from the family residence, 327 Liberty street, on 
Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, and will be conducted by the Rev. Mr. Riser, pastor 
of the Lutheran church of Norfolk.  The interment will be in Magnolia cemetery.
