Oct. 23 --(AP) Mrs. Maggie Vogler, of this city, was killed today at noon when an automobile in she was riding turned over at Roanoke Rapids, according to a message received here. In the car with Mrs. Vogler were Misses Myrtle Curlee and Pauline Trexler and Ed Vogler, the latter a brother-in-law of Mrs. Maggie Vogler. The party were returning from a visit to Norfolk. None of the others in the car were seriously hurt. Mrs. Vogler was the wife of Robert Vogler, who conducts a restaurant here. The body was taken to Norfolk, former home of Mrs. Vogler, for burial. ******************************************************************* Mrs. Maggie Parron Vogler - Funeral services for Mrs. Vogler will be conducted at the residence of her brother-in-law, Elton E. Parker, 309 Hardy avenue, this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. J.E. McCauley, pastor of the First Christian Church, and the Rev. L.W. Strickler, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Mrs. Vogler died at Roanoke Rapids, N.C. Tuesday afternoon as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident earlier in the day. She was a former resident of Norfolk, having lived here most of her life, but for the past four years had made her home in Salisbury, N.C. She was returning home following a visit to her people here when the accident occurred. She was the wife of R.W. Vogler and daughter of the late Richard and Mrs. Emily Williams Parron and in addition to her husband is survived by one sister, Mrs. Rosa Brown, of Portsmouth; four brothers, E.B., W.L. and W.H. Parron, Norfolk and Edgar B. Parron, Richmond.
