Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, February 13, 2002
Emma Rosetta Wadley, 82, of the 1000 block of Vista St., went home to be with 
the Lord Feb. 8, 2002, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was the widow of 
Linwood Wadley and was predeceased by her granddaughter, Stephanie Burdick. 

She leaves to mourn three sons, John Lewis, Willie Reeves and Ralph Reeves; a 
daughter, Patricia Burdick; a future daughter-in-law, Kathy Martin Thompson; 
five granddaughters, Bridgette Wood, Nicole Burdick, Eleanor Brooks and Veronica 
Sanderson; a grandson, Scott Burdick Jr.; two great-grandsons, Anthony Burdick 
and Patrone Wood II; a great-granddaughter, Celetha Reeves; and a host of other 
relatives and friends. 

A funeral will be held at Greater Metropolitan AME Zion Church at 11 a.m. Friday 
by the Rev. Bernard Crawford. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery . Hale 
Funeral Home is in charge.
