Veronica McGuire Wagner, 91, of the 3100 block of Shore Drive, died April 24, 
1991, in a hospital.
Mrs. Wagner, a native of Forestport, N.Y., was a member of Star of the Sea 
Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, N.Y. 
She was a former member of Princess Anne Country Club and the Virginia Beach 
General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters, Lelia W. Devereux and Ann W. Gill, both of 
Virginia Beach; two sons, Jack M. Baer of Gansevoort, N.Y., and William M. Baer of 
Collinsville, Conn.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in Star of the Sea 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Raymond McIntyre. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery, Norfolk. Friends may join the family at the home of Ann Gill, 476 
Goodspeed Road, after the services. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road, 
is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad or to The 
Shelter, c/o P.O. Box 831, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451.
