He lived here for 37 years and was retired from National Cash Register Co. after 27 years. He also was manager of the Tidewater Charge Card Co. He was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of Norfolk Lions Club. Other survivors include a son, Edward C. Wagoner of Norfolk; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary W. York and Mrs. Katherine W. Jones of Indianapolis, Ind. A prayer service will be held tonight at 8 in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in Christ the King Catholic Church by the Rev. Fr. J. Michael Breslin. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations may be made to the Tidewater Vocational Center or the building fund of Christ the King Catholic Church.
