Virginian Pilot February 21, 1993

 Bessie Dailey Wagoner, 87, formerly of 1376 Gabriel Drive, Norfolk, a 
homemaker, died Feb. 20, 1993, in the 2800 block of North Shore Road, Suffolk.
Mrs. Wagoner was born in Norfolk. She was a member of Lansdale Baptist Church of 
Norfolk and Norview Eastern Star Chapter (NU)131. She was the widow of Earl 
Bryant Wagoner.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. George J. Wallace of Virginia Beach and 
Mrs. Wellington Roberts of Suffolk; a son, Earl Bryant Wagoner of Prattville, 
Ala.; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and a nephew. She was the 
sister of the late George "Bricky" Dailey.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Lansdale Baptist Church of 
Norfolk by Pastor James E. Womble. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The 
family will receive friends at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, 
from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday. Eastern Star rites will be accorded at the church. 
Memorial donations may be made to Lansdale Baptist Church of Norfolk.
