Alexander Waites Sr. - Funeral services for Mr. Waites, who died March 10 at his 
home were held from the St. John’s AME Church with the Rev. H. M. Shields 
officiating. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Riddick Funeral Home was in charge 
of arrangements. Mr. Waites leaves behind his wife, Mrs. Mary Waites, two sons, 
Russell and Alexander Jr., and a host of relatives and friends.
