Virginian Pilot March 31, 1905 

Walcken-At his residence, Princess Anne County, Friday, March 31, 1905 at 8 
a.m., Peter Walcken, aged 32 years. The funeral will take place from ST. Paul’s 
P.E. Church, Sunday, April 2, at 3 p.m. Friends and acquaintances respectfully 
invited to attend.

Virginian Pilot April 1, 1905
The funeral of Peter Walcken, whose death occurred at his home in Princess Anne 
County Friday, will be solemnized from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 3 o’clock 
this afternoon. The services will be conducted by Rev. Robert Gatewood. Norfolk 
Lodge No. 9, Knights of Pythias, and Elizabeth Camp, No. 3. Woodmen of the 
World, of which the deceased was a member, will attend the obsequies in the 
body.
