The Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 1, 1954
Herbert Livingston Walke, 67, of 426 South Main Street, Berkley, died yesterday 
at 12:30 a.m. in a Norfolk hospital after an illness of three years.
A lifelong resident of Berkley, his parents were William H. and Mrs. Laura 
Wallace Walke. He was a retired automobile salesman and also had operated an 
automobile service station.
He was a member of Doric Lodge 44, Grice Commandery 16, Knights Templar, and 
Khedive Temple, of the Shrine.
Surviving are one brother, J. Wallace Walke of Norfolk, and several cousins.
The body was removed to the Sykes Funeral Home, Berkley, where funeral services 
will be conducted tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
