Walke, died at 1 o’clock Sunday afternoon at Fortress Monroe. The funeral will take place from the chapel at Old Point tomorrow afternoon at 1 o’clock. The remains will be interred in Elmwood Cemetery, this city. Public Ledger, Tues., Feb. 22, 1898, pg.1 The funeral of Willoughby Walke, Jr., the 7 year old son of Lieutenant and Mrs. Walke, took place this afternoon from the Chapel at Fortress Monroe. The remains were brought to this city and interred in Elmwood. Norfolk Landmark, Tues., Feb. 22, 1898, pg. 2 Willoughby Walke, Jr., aged 7 years, the only son of Lieutenant and Mrs. W. Walke, died at 1 o’clock Sunday afternoon at Fortress Monroe.
