Virginian-Pilot February 1, 1979
 NORFOLK - Mrs. Louise Walker of 124 E. Indian River Road, Berkley, the wife of 
Cecil Walker and a native of Danville, died Tuesday in a hospital.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Justine Johnson, and a sister, Mrs. 
Mable Peatross, both of Norfolk; two brothers, Jerry Lanear of Portsmouth and 
Robert Winbush of Danville; and a grandchild.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Saturday at noon in St. Mary’s 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas J. Quinlan. A Christian Wake service will be 
held Friday night at 7:30 in the church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. 
Metropolitan Funeral Home has charge. The family is at her home.
