Virginian Pilot April 21, 1975

Mrs. Margaret Bannon Walker, 80, of 9308 Chesapeake St., died Sunday in a 
hospital.
A native of Baltimore, Md., she was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. 
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Garman, Mrs. Helen O'Brien and 
Mrs. Jane Anne O'Brien, all of Norfolk, five sons, Benjamin L. Walker, Jr., 
Edwin L. Walker, and William T. Walker, all of Norfolk, Harry V. Walker of New 
Smyrna Beach, Fla. and Rayner J. Walker of Dallas, Texas; a brother, Francis P. 
Bannon of Norfolk; 25 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
  A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The body will be taken from H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Monday for a 
Rosary service at 8 p.m.

WALKER, MRS. MARGARET BANNON — In a Norfolk hospital, Sunday, MRS. MARGARET 
BANNON WALKER, widow of Benjamin L. Walker and daughter of the late Francis 
Patrick and Mrs. Jane Manning Bannon, in the 81st year of her age. The Joyful 
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 
Tuesday at 10 o’clock. Burial, St. Mary’s Cemetery. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., 
Norfolk, has charge.
