A native of Elizabeth City, NC, she was a daughter of Moses and Mrs. Frances Brown and the wife of Roscoe Walker. She lived in Norfolk 50 years and was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church and its Usher Board 1 and Missionary Circle. She also was a member of St. Thomas Eastern Star Chapter 51, and Miriam Tent 33. Besides her widower, surviving are a niece and nephew. The body was taken to Morning Glory Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in Jerusalem Baptist Church by the Rev. Thomas Venable. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
