The Virginian-Pilot, Monday, September 9, 1974

NORFOLK - Mrs. Lelia Walker of 979 Marietta Ave., the widow of Sandy Walker Sr. 
and a native of Princess Anne County, died Sunday in a hospital.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Recielle Reynold, Miss Alberta Walker, and 
Mrs. Maggie Lewis of Norfolk; and five sons, Sandy Walker Jr. of New York, William 
Walker, Roosevelt Walker, Jacob Walker, and Thomas Walker of Norfolk.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.

Additional Comments:
NORFOLK - A funeral service for Mrs. Lelia Walker of 979 Marietta Ave. will be 
held Thursday at 3 p.m. in Mount Carmel Baptist Church by the Rev. Zack Pippens. 
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with graves Funeral Home in charge.
