NORFOLK - James L. Walker, 69, of 820 Virginia Beach Blvd., the husband of the 
late Mrs. Clara Walker, died Monday in a hospital after a short illness.

A native of New Bern, N.C., he was a son of Adam and Mrs. Mary W. Walker.

He worked 25 years for Eason's Barrell Factory.

Surviving is a sister, Marena W. Harris of New York.

A funeral service will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in Hale Funeral Chapel by the 
Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
