Walker, 368 South Main Street, after an illness of ten days as the result of heart trouble. At the time of his death Mr. Walker was engaged in the optical business in Norfolk, but had followed the drug business nearly all his life, having conducted the People's Pharmacy for several years. Mr. Walker was a native of Elizabeth City, but had made his home in this city more than twenty years, where he made many friends. In addition to the above brother, he is survived by two brothers, W.B. and Charles Walker, of Hoboken, N.J. and two sisters, Mrs. W.B. Fletcher, of Richmond and Mrs. E.C. Cherry, of Venice, Cal. The funeral services will be announced later.
