Derry and were largely attended. The Rev. Guy W. Duty, pastor of the Gospel Tabernacle, assisted by the Rev. Arthur H. Graves, pastor of the Glad Tidings Church, officiated. There were many floral offerings and the casket was covered with a double spray of carnations and fern. During the services the Rev. and Mrs. Graves sang “Abide With Me,” accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Graves. Pallbearers were Mrs. Mammie Beall, Mrs. Virginia Pender, Mrs. Bertha Shawn, Mrs. Susie Derring, Mrs. Sue Gordon, Mrs. Clara Shaw, Mrs. Eva Litchfield and Mrs. Cecelia Hoskings. Members of Oneida Council No. 6, Degree of Pocahontas, of which Mrs. Walker was a member, attended in a body, acted as an escort and conducted services at the grave. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
