NORFOLK - A funeral service was held July 29 at 1:30 p. m. in First Baptist
Church, Lamberts Point, for Lowell Walker, 57, of 823 W. 42nd street, who died
July 26 in a hospital.

The Rev. O. B. Burson, pastor of First Baptist, officiated.  Burial was in
Calvary Cemetery for the Naval Exchange employee who served 17 years.  Pretlow
Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Mr. Walker was a Norfolk native and the son of Essex Walker and Mrs. Olivia Walker.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Arielia B. Walker, and a brother, Woodrow
Walker of Washington
