Norfolk - Daniel M. Walker of 714 Johnson Ave. died Thursday at 5:30 a.m. in his
home after a long illness.

A native of Norfolk, he was the widower of Mrs. Janie Walker.

He retired in 1948 from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 18 years of service.

He was a member of Bank Street Baptist Church and Johnson Avenue Neighborhood
Club. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Vaughn of Brooklyn.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home.
