Norfolk Virginian Pilot Tuesday September 14, 1897

Mrs. Allie Walker, the wife of Mr. W.W. Walker, of Gilmerton, died at her late 
residence Saturday night, at 11:30 o'clock, after an illness of two weeks. Mrs. 
Walker was in the 27th year of her age and leaves a number of friends who will 
mourn their loss.

The funeral of Mrs. Allie Walker took place yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock 
from the Methodist Church at Gilmerton. Rev. M. Baker, pastor of the church, 
officiated and the remains were interred in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
