Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark January 19, 1923

C. Archie Walker died early yesterday at his home in Riverside. He was in his 39th 
year and is survived by three daughters, Misses Evelyn, Miriam and Edith Walker, 
of Norfolk; his mother, Mrs. W.A. Walker, of Norfolk and five sisters, Misses 
Lillian M. and Willie Belle Walker, Mrs. T.M. Minor and Mrs. B.O. Ames, of Norfolk 
and Mrs. S.E. Hathaway, of Cradock.
Mr. Walker was a foreman at the Virginia Iron Works, Norfolk, where he had been 
employed for twenty years. He was a member of Corinthian Lodge of Masons. Funeral 
will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the residence, Rev. J.T. Riddick, officiating. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
