The Virginian Pilot May 29, 1963


Virginia Beach-Mrs. Lula Old Walker, 83 of 5204 Atlantic Ave. died in a 
Virginia Beach convalescent home Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. after a long illness.
A native of Norfolk and lifelong resident of Norfolk and Virginia Beach, she 
was a daughter of William H. and Mrs. Alice Northern Old.
Surviving are two sons, William C. Walker of Norfolk and Littleton B. Walker 
of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Mrs. Claude F. Bryan of Virginia Beach; eight 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to Maestas Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be conducted today at 4 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. Edmund Berkeley of Galilee Episcopal Church. The family 
has requested that flowers be omitted.
