The Virginian Pilot May 24, 1963


Norfolk-Claude A (County) Walker Jr., 62, of 3719 Granby St., a son of Claude 
A. and Mrs. Annie Lawrence Walker, died Wednesday in a Norfolk hospital.
A native of Lawrence, N.C., he lived in Norfolk most of his life. 
He was a salesman for Bisese & Console, Inc.
He was a member of Christ and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Owens Masonic Lodge 
164, Norfolk Elks Lodge 38 and Cavalier Golf and County Club.
Surviving are five cousins, Miss Laurie Wingate and Mrs. Raymond C. Wilson of 
Norfolk, Navy Lt. Cmdr. Laura of Arlington, Capt. William J. Lawrence of 
Fairfax, Calif., and William J. Lawrence of Wichita, Kan.
A funeral service will be held in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 2 
p.m. by the Rev. Peyton R. Williams of Christ and St. Luke’s Church. Burial 
will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
