Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark Wednesday January 16, 1918

The funeral of James E. Wallace, aged 70 years, who died Monday evening at 11 
o'clock at the family residence, 293 State street, after a lingering illness, will 
be conducted at the residence at 3 o'clock this afternoon.  The deceased was a 
native of Norfolk county and had lived here all of his life.
He is survived by his widow, children and several relatives.  Burial will be in 
Magnolia Cemetery.
