Virginian Pilot December 31 1953
Laura Agnes Mitchell Wallace, Mrs. age 68, widow of Jesse Frank Wallace and 
daughter of the late Zebelon and Laura Agnes Mitchell, died at the residence, 
417 Massachusetts Avenue on Tuesday, December 29, 1953 at 2 p.m. She was a 
lifelong resident of Norfolk and was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors 
are: son Frank James Wallace, 3 granddaughters: Miss Sarah Gray, Miss Jane 
Wallace and Miss Mary Wallace; a sister, Mrs. Mattie L. Barnes, all of Norfolk. 
Services at H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts Thursday, December 31, 1953 by the Rev. 
P. Rowland Wagner, pastor of Central Baptist Church.
