Virginian Pilot January 15, 1986

Fannie Blassingham Wallace, 86, of 2709 Bainbridge Blvd., the widow of George M. 
Wallace, died Monday in her home.
Mrs. Wallace, a member of Rosemont Christian Church, is survived by two daughters, 
Fannie Humphreys of Virginia Beach and Virginia Stephens of Sanford, N.C.; a 
sister, Julia Blassingham of Chesapeake; three grandchildren; and six great-
grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Gay & Oman Funeral Home, Francis 
A. Gay Chapel, by the Rev. Carrol Lewis.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, 
Norfolk.
