Quay Road, a retired salesman, died April 21, 1990, in a Franklin hospital. Mr. Wallace, a native of Wallaceton, Va., was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Franklin. He was a charter member of Hokie Club of Virginia Tech and was a member of the Purnia 50 Extra Miler Club. He was a past member of the Harrisonburg Chamber of Commerce, Harrisonburg Kiwanis and the Elks Lodge, Harrisonburg. He was a past member of the Jaycees, the Kiwanis Club and the Elks in Winchester. Survivors include his wife, Maria W. Wallace; a daughter, Priscilla Agner of Berryville, Va.; a sister, Mildred W. Drummond of Norfolk; a brother, John D. Wallace III of Chesapeake; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Trinity Episcopal Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Ben Duffy. Burial was private at Magnolia Cemetery, Norfolk. Friends may join the family today at the residence. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad or to the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 400 N. High St., Franklin, Va.
