Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 23,1959
Funeral rites for Mrs. Sarah Walloe, 1818 Bracey street, were held Thursday, May 
21 at New Calvary Baptist Church, with Elder Samuel A. Wilson, officiating.

Mrs. Walloe died Monday, May 18, at her home at age 87.

The daughter of Scott and Mrs. Mary Melton, and widow of Mack Walloe, Mrs. 
Walloe was a native of Isle of Wight county, but had lived in Norfolk 37 years.

She is survived by three sons, Robert of Norfolk, Wallace of Rahway, NJ and 
Lloyd of Franklin, VA;  and a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Sears of Long Beach, NY.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.

(NOTE: name on obituary and death certificate is Sarah Walloe)
