Walsh, aged 29 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Walsh, died yesterday morning at 10:10 o'clock at St. Vincent's Hospital after an illness of more than a year. A native of this city, he was widely known and held in high esteem. He was an inspector in the city water department. He was also well known in fraternal circles, being president of the A.O.H., member of Knights of Columbus, Y.M.A. and Norfolk Lodge 32, B.P.O. Elks. Besides his parents, he is survived by four sisters, Mrs. H.L. Williams, Mrs. James Cox, Misses Maria and Katherine Walsh; three brothers, William J., Michael J. and George V. Walsh, all of Norfolk. The funeral will take place Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Remains will be taken from the residence, 314 Chapel street, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for funeral services THURSDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s cemetery.
