Virginian Pilot February 13, 1963

Mrs. Mary Alice King Walsh, 77, of 1527 Magnolia Ave., widow of William John 
Walsh and daughter of Thomas and Mrs. Bridget Ferron King, died Tuesday at 5:50 
a.m. in a hospital.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, she was a member of Blessed Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Mary Alice Walsh and three sons, Thomas King 
Walsh, William John Walsh Jr. and Walter U. Walsh, all of Norfolk; and a 
brother, Edward J. King of Virginia Beach.
The Rosary will be recited in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30
A funeral service will be held in St. Mary's Catholic Church Thursday at 10 a.m. 
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

WALSH, MARY ALICE KING – At a local hospital, Tuesday, February 12th, 1963, at 
5:30 a.m., MARY ALICE KING WALSH, widow of William John Walsh and daughter of 
the late Thomas and Bridgett Ferron King, in the 78th year of her age. Remains 
will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary’s Catholic 
Church for a funeral service THURSDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of the 
family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
