Virginian Pilot May 12, 1959

Mrs. Elsie Walsh, 63, daughter of the late Salvan and Frida Ceres, died Monday 
at 5 p.m. at a Norfolk hospital.
She was a native of Newark, N.J. and lived in Norfolk for the past 12 years, 
residing at 526 W. 31st St., at the time of her death. She was a member of 
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Miss Marion C. Walsh of Norfolk; one son, 
Robert G. Walsh of Norfolk; four sisters, Mrs. Madeliene Predmore of East 
Orange, N.J., Mrs. Katherine Keller of Nutler, N.J., Mrs. Melita McCormack of 
Brooklyn, N.Y. and Mrs. Mallie Bohmenberger, of Vallejo, Calif.; one brother, 
Frederick Ceres, of Hancock, N.H.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church for services Thursday morning at 10 a.m. Burial will 
be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be at the funeral apartments 
Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

WALSH, ELSIE - At a local hospital, Monday, May 11, 1959, at 5 p.m., ELSIE 
WALSH, daughter of the late Salvan and Frieda Caruso Ceres. Remains will be 
taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Ave, to Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church, for services THURSDAY MORNING at 10 a.m. Friends of 
the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
