Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 24, 1925 

Nicholas Walsh, aged 69, died Sunday night at 10 o'clock at a local hospital. He 
was a native of Ireland, but had been a well known resident of Norfolk for a 
number of years. Surviving him are two brothers, Richard and Thomas Walsh; a 
sister, Miss Judith Walsh, all of Ireland and a cousin, James Walsh, of 
Washington, D.C. Funeral services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

WALSH, NICHOLAS - At a local hospital Sunday, November 22, 1925, at 10 o’clock 
p.m., NICHOLAS WALSH, in the 70th year of his age.
Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, Nos. 610-12 E. 
Freemason Street, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services WEDNESDAY 
MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
