Virginian Pilot December 23, 1981

Theresa M. Walsh, 84, of 7317 Woodfin Ave., a retired bookkeeper and office 
manager and a lifelong Norfolk native, died Tuesday in a hospital.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Our Lady of Victory 
Catholic Chapel, the Catholic Daughters, the Soroptimist Club and Norfolk Yacht 
and Country Club.
Survivors include a sister, Lena Walsh Chapman of Norfolk.
A Christian Wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today in Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Church. The family will be at her home.
A funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday in Blessed Sacrament Catholic 
Church by the Rev. Thomas B. Nee. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery with 
H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments in charge.

WALSH, MISS THERESA M. – In a Norfolk hospital, Tuesday, MISS THERESA M. WALSH, 
daughter of the late John and Mrs. Martha Wright Walsh, in the 84th year of her 
age. A funeral mass will be held in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Thursday 
at 10 a.m. Burial, St. Mary’s Cemetery. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, has 
charge. The family will be at 7317 Woodfin Avenue, Norfolk.
