Walters, widow of B.F. Walters, for many years a prominent business man of Norfolk, died at the home of her son-in-law, William Carr, No. 113 Eighteenth Street, Friday evening at 6:15 o'clock, after a brief illness. Mrs. Walters, who was in the seventy-second year of her age, was a native of Maryland and had resided in Norfolk for forty-five years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R.B. Jones and Mrs. William Carr of Norfolk; two sons, B.F. Walters of Boston, Mass. and H.J. Walters of San Francisco, Cal. and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Father John Doherty in the Carr residence Monday at noon. Walters, occurred at noon today at the home of her son-in-law, William Carr, No. 113 Eighteenth Street, and was largely attended, Rev. John J. Doherty, of St. Mary's Catholic Church, officiating. There were handsome floral tributes. Pallbearers: John Fox, Roy Osborne, George Bonney, William Cannon, George H. Taylor, W.C. Cooke, Vernon Cavender, Michael Cannon, Jr. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
