Miss Ida Reed Walters, aged 75 years, daughter of the late Theodore A. and 
Georgiana Reed Walters, died Sunday evening at 7 o’clock at the residence of her 
niece, Mrs. E. A. Stroud, at Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Miss Walters was a former resident 
of Norfolk, but for the past 23 years had lived with her niece in Wilkes-Barre. 
She is survived by one brother, Sidney A. Walters, of Norfolk, two sisters, Miss 
Mary A. Walters, of Norfolk, and Mrs. William Myerly, of Simpsonville, Md.; two 
nieces, Mrs. E. A Stroud, of Wilkes-Barre, and Mrs. G. L. Bonney, of Norfolk; two 
nephews, Autelle Walters, of Wilkes- Barre, and Theodore Hardy Walters, 2d, of 
Norfolk. Solemn Requiem Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Wilkes 
Barre, of which Miss Walters was a consistent member, this morning. Pallbearers 
will be great-nephews of the deceased. Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s 
Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, to St. Mary’s Cemetery for 
services at the grave tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o’clock.
