Norfolk Virginian Pilot March 21, 1946

Joseph Henry Walters, 72, died at a local hospital yesterday at 5:05 a.m.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Lessie D. Walters, he is survived by a brother, Abram B. 
Walters; a sister, Mrs. A.J. Graham, both of Norfolk and several nieces and 
nephews.
Mr. Walters was a native of Isle of Wight County and had been a resident of 
Norfolk for 60 years. He was a member of LeKies Methodist Church. He was in the 
employ of the city for over 50 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
