Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, September 14, 2000 
Stephon Reshard Walton, 19, of the 800 block of Fremont St., entered into
eternal rest on Sept. 10, 2000, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

He was born in Norfolk and lived in Fayetteville, N.C., for seven years before
returning to Norfolk in 1997. He was a former member of New Mission Missionary
Baptist Church in Fayetteville. He attended Granby High School.

He was predeceased by his grandmother, Ann Paige Stoner. His survivors include
his mother, Yolanda Stoner and brother, Daryl Stoner, both of Norfolk; father,
Jefferey Walton; stepfather, Daryl Haley; stepsister, Tonia Whithead;
great-grandmother, Viola Walker; grandmothers, Sandra Walton and Josephine
Haley; grandfathers, LaVelle Stoner Sr. and Henry Walton; great-aunt and uncle,
Sheila and Gregory Mathis; aunts, Valerie Wilder, Sheila McBride, Kierra Barnes,
Latrice Williams, Sherry Wilson, Precious Person, Kesha Greene, Deedra Robinson,
Deborah Cole, Wylene Falcon-Goins, Teshenia Mack and Vivian Walker; uncles,
LaVelle Stoner Jr., George Westley Stoner, Darryl Wayne Smith, LaVelle Mayfield,
Steven Quintin Walton, Derrick Rollins, Christopher Mack and David Wilder;
cousins, Anthony Stoner, Kanisha Wilder, LaVelle Smith, Charlese McBride,
Shatoria McBride, Shelonda Loftin, Sheleeda Williams, Elijah Peoples, Geolice
Stoner, Donte Loftin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Graves Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery . Family will receive friends from 7
to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
