Norfolk Virginian March 24, 1897

Mr. D.A. Ward died at 2 o'clock yesterday at St. Vincent's Hospital. He was the 
son of the late Wm. Ward and brother of Dr. Ward and Col. Ward. He served in the 
cavalry of Mahone's Division in the late war. His funeral will take place today 
at 3:30 p.m. from the chapel of the hospital.

late William and Priscilla Ward.
The funeral will take place TODAY at 3:30 p.m.

The funeral of Mr. D. A. Ward took place yesterday afternoon from the chapel at 
St. Vincent's Hospital and was conducted by Rev. Father Doherty of St. Mary's 
Catholic Church.  The interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
