Norfolk Journal and Guide, Jul 27,1963
Norfolk - Mrs. Geneva Ward, 59, of 735 Fremont street, who died July 21 in a 
Norfolk hospital, received final rites Thursday at Hale Funeral Home.

The Rev. W. L. Hildebrand officiated at the service.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery.

A Norfolk native, Mrs. Ward is survived by her husband, Frank Ward;  a son, 
Anthony Jones of Norfolk;  a sister, Mrs. Berthel Ruffin, also of Norfolk;  a 
brother, Eugene Smith of New York;  and four grandchildren.
