Norfolk Virginian May 13, 1876
DIED
At his residence, in Norfolk, Thursday, May 11th, 1876, after a lingering illness, 
MATHIAS WARD, age 46 years.
His funeral will take place from his residence, No. 497 Church street, THIS 
(Saturday) AFTERNOON, at 4 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully 
invited. Members of the old Norfolk Junior Volunteers will please take notice.
