NORFOLK - Mrs. Ethel Ward of 2783 Monrovia Drive died Sunday in her home after a 
short illness.

A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Willie Ward. She was a member of First 
Calvary Baptist Church, Tents, Eureka Lodge, and Phyllis Wheatley Lodge.

A funeral service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in First Calvary Baptist Church by 
the Rev. C.E. Griffin. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with Hale Funeral Home 
in charge.
