NORFOLK - Mrs. Elizabeth Henderson Ward of 2824 Virginia Beach Blvd., the wife 
of Owen P. Ward and a native of North Carolina, died Sunday in Lake Taylor City 
Hospital.

She worked for the Norfolk Public Schools for 20 years and retired.

She was a member of First Calvary Chapel Baptist Church and its Usher Board 1 
and the E.F. Gregory Missionary Circle.

Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Marjorie F. Whitehead, and a brother, 
Earl A. Fontanilla, both of Virginia Beach; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in First Calvary Chapel Baptist Church 
by the Rev. H.C. Hill. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Community Funeral 
Home, Norfolk Chapel, in charge. The body will be in church at 11 a.m. Sunday.
