February 3, 1934 Virginian Pilot


Miss Georgiana Ward died yesterday morning at 5:45 o’clock in a local hospital. 
She was a native of Princess Anne County and is survived by three sisters; Mrs. 
M. A. Portlock and Mrs. M. C. Mercer, of Norfolk, Mrs. W. O. Fleming, of 
Newport News, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 
tomorrow afternoon at 4 o’clock at the Gregory Funeral Home, 3401 Granby 
Street, and will be conducted by the Rev. Irving M. Ellis, pastor of Park 
Avenue Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
