Virginian-Pilot  March 25, 1924
MISS JULIA R. WARD - Funeral services for Miss Ward were conducted yesterday 
morning at 10:30 o'clock at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Rev. E. C. Keefer, 
officiating.  The Rev. Phillip Blackburn, the Rev. Thomas E. Waters and the Rev. 
Vincent Warren were present.  Several selections were sung by the choir of Sacred 
Heart Church.  There was a large attendance and a profusion of flowers.  The 
casket was covered with a cross of Easter lilies.  Burial was in St. Mary's 
Cemetery, the pallbearers being: A. J. Smith, Frederick Ballou, Joshua Garrison, 
William Farant, Jr., J. Westmore Willcox, E. Vincent Smith, Frank Parrott and C. 
W. Sams.
