MRS. MARY ANNE WARD - Funeral services for Mrs. Ward, widow of Richard Ward, whose 
death occurred Monday, were held at 10 o'clock yesterday morning at Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church with the Rev. J. O. Schmidhauser officiating.  The Rev. 
J. F. Govaert, pastor, was in the sanctuary.  Mrs. F. R. McLaughlin and Mrs. R. P. 
Smith sang "Veni Jesu," with Mrs. C. R. Davies as organist.  There was a large 
attendance and many floral offerings.  The casket was covered with a pall of 
Easter lilies, pink roses, gladioli, baby's breath and fern.  Interment was in St. 
Mary's Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Frederick Downing, Michael V. Holland, Thomas V. Duffy, Thomas V. 
Duffy, Jr., David Edgar, Andrew Robinette, J. W. Kavanaugh, Jr., and Hubert Moore. 

In his address at the conclusion of the mass, Father Schmidhauser paid tribute to 
the Christian life and character of Mrs. Ward.  Services at the gfrave were 
conducted by the Rev. J. F. Govaert.
